    Problems after rooting.

I rooted my phone a week or so ago using the auto root method and ever sense then my phone has been very slow and laggy. My messaging especially. It takes forever to bring up text messaging half the time and it freezes and force closes 50% of the time.

I have the stock rom and Adrynalynes 4.4.7 kernal. Even with the phone clocked to 1.4 on performance governor its still moves like pond water.

Is there anyway to fix my issue? Could it be the kernal?

I am open to any suggestions. Thanks!

Sounds like something didn't take completely...try a reset and if that doesn't work wipe and re-install

What ROMS and Kernals are you running? That would be a good place to start...

It sounds like he is stock, just rooted.
ol_blue, Do you have a lot of messages in your inbox? Just throwing some ideas out: clear out your inbox, clear your caches, check for rogue apps running in the background.
You might also want to try a custom ROM, they come with updated Kernels that often run better than stock: http://www.thunderboltforums.com/for...-6-8-11-a.html

that is correct. i dont really have the time to mess around with too much of that stuff. when i get a chance i might look into that stuff...

would a lot of messages really slow it down that much? and every time i boot my phone i stop rogue apps. i also freeze the ones that start on their own as well
