New to rooting..
I have RUN-ME and support_files in the same folder, and started up RUN-ME just fine, and clicked 'n' when it asked if I had the drivers installed. A dialogue box popped up and asked me to click yes, so I did. So I'm assuming fastboot drivers were installed. Then, in the RUN-ME command prompt, it said my tbolt was found..and it went through every process until it got to the SU or s off step (I can't remember which it was called). It failed on this step. Can you help? It still sent me to the revolution page and so I entered my serial and everything, and pasted it into the revolution command prompt, but then it said rooting failed at the end (I'm assuming because the SU step was never achieved). Now every time I start up RUN-ME, it will ask if I have the fastboot drivers installed, and once I enter in 'y', it says phone found! and just sits there. Looking at my tbolt, some weird static-y lines show up at the top until I unplug it. Help??

The staticy lines are normal. Pull your battery out, reboot, Run run-me.bat again and go through the steps, but let it finish

I'm stuck on:
Zerging Root... this might take a minute or so.. Failed to get Root!
Press <almost> any key to exit.
I have tried it twice and unpluged and plugged the phone in.
Also, yesterday I did do this update:
Minor HTC Thunderbolt Update 2.11.605.19 Released – Droid Life
I ended up loosing all my apps and settings. That is why I decided to root, so I can back things up.
Do you think the update has anything to do with the error?
