    Notification Sounds

    Please help! Is there any way to make the notification sounds longer or repeat? I found the "Free Music" app, made a ringtone and also made a new notification tone as well. Set the notification only to discover it cuts it off after about 4 seconds. I am constantly missing when I receive messages because I miss the sound. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! (And, please- very basic instructions as I am sooo slow with this technology).

    If you use an app like GO SMS or Handscent, instead of the "stock" messaging app, they have options to remind you of messages received over given time intervals. The stock messaging app doesn't really have a good reminder system.
