OK. Been going round and round with Verizon on this. Long story short is that they shouldn't have offered me the Bionic but they did and they have finally agreed to make good on the original offer. If I could do it all over again I would not have pursued this as long as I did as Verizon is very good at saying no and wearing you down.

Sorry to hear about your frustrations, but it's good they kept their original offer intact.

Congrats. I'm in the early stages of trying to switch out my bolt for a bionic. Long story short, I've sent back 2 bolts that were defective & they charged me $600 each for not returning them. On my account it was even listed as being received, tired of them trying to steal from me.

Now that GB has been officially released for the bolt this is a non issue.

Glad Verizon is making good on their promise though.

Based on my experience do not waste your time trying to talk supervisors or CSR's as they can't do anything if you want a straight swap. I would recommend downloading their mediation form, complete and send it in to them and you will get a call from someone in corporate. If that doesn't get the results you want then you have the option of filing in small claims court as the Verizon Terms of service
allows for this as long as the amount is under $10,000. As I said before this is a lot of work and I don't think it's worth it. For me it was the principal of them fulfilling their agreement.
    Good luck to you.

Thanks for all the help & advice. I agree with you, it's the principal of them fulfilling the contract. $300 to cancel isn't that much, but the fact that I wouldn't be wanting to cancel if they didn't try to charge me $1200 because of their incompetence. They lied to me over the phone & lied to me right to my face, not a good way to keep customers happy.
