I've talked to some owners with the DroidX that are rooted and they have a GB Tether Patch to remove the data logging when using WIFI tether.
Is there anything like this for the TB?
Thanks

I'm curious as to why you would need this. Can't you just format/wipe the data if you need to take it in to VZW. Wouldn't that solve any potential issues?
Nothing to do with taking the phone in for service.
Has to do with how VZW tracks the data logging and usage for your account for WIFI tethering.
If you can clear the data log, then it is more difficult to track/maintain from what I have heard/read.
And the DroidX has a patch that addresses this and clears the logging (without having to wipe your phone).
Good to know! I look forward to finding a solution to this. Hopefully it does not require a specific ROM.
