1x only signal???

i have no data/internet. the phone will be stuck in 1x, or 3g with an up arrow sometimes, and 4g with up arrow.

i went to verizon and they replaced my sim card and said that should work, but it didn't and i was tired of being at the store.

now they want me to try a hard reset and i wanted to see if you guys might know anything else before i do that. i'd rather not..

same here when i put mine on airplane mode or turn off mobile data, stays frozen on 1x the only thing that takes it off and back on 3g is long pressing the power button and select restart but not much of an issue with mine rarely does it.

ya that's exactly what mine does, only mine does it often.

You can check the metal contacts on the back cover. That's the antenna so if it is damaged in any way you will not get a good signal.

i mean it looks okay, but i don't have another phone to compare it too lol.

i did the hard reset and i see a very slight improvement, but still alot of 1x where i should be getting 4g....

frustrated, i think i'm going to ask for a new phone

I might be wrong, but there could be an outage with Verizon also. I switch between 4G and 3G throughout the day to save battery when not updating or downloading. And for some reason, my 3G is not working. 4G is fine. In NYC.....

This past evening, my TB randomly rebooted and now seems to be stuck in 1x. I restarted, turned off 4g, turned it back on, airplane mode off then on, and battery pull. Nothing worked. I was in an area where I always get 3g. It was 1x, but even that dropped out and I had no data connection from time to time. What's going on?

Yeap...1x all night long, since 10pm. This is the first time this has happened for this long. At least I can still D/L porn...eh...I mean, access the internet.

I'm waiting for 6am to roll around to contact Verizon.

Just got off the phone with Verizon. There is a nationwide 4G outage. Anyone that has a 4G phone, will have trouble converting 4G to 3G and will default to 1x. The outage started around 2:30am this morning and there is no estimated time for repair.
