PG05IMG.zip Steps for flashing?

Hey guys. Getting ready to upgrade m rom to most current version, but it indicates before I do that I need to flash the pg zip file. I have downloaded but need to know how to flasg it before I do.

If I remember right you have to put this file on the root of your sd card then boot into hboot?

Can someone give me a step by step walk through for doing this?

Like you said, put it on the root of your sdcard and be sure its named right. I think its PG05IMG.zip
Then power off. Hold the volume down button and then press and hold the power button until hboot comes on. It will check the file, then ask if you want to update. Press volume up for yes. After update, press power to reboot. Make sure your battery is above 50%. You don't want to run out of juice in the middle of an update.

Are these instructions for non rooted users?

Not sure, I think it'll work in either case. First thing I do with a new phone is root it.

slim, how do I tell I have the new radio?

Go to Settings/About Phone/Software. The version number should end in .402
