Recently, at Verizon's brand new LTE Innovation Center, they demonstrated a new video chat app, which was caught on video. The idea behind the new Innovation Center is for companies to "innovate" with new ideas and apps that can take advantage of 4G LTE technology. This particular app was an example of what is coming from the concept. Amazingly, this app was described as "a really sharp looking video chatting application that blows Skype or any other out of the water." That's pretty high praise to be sure. The article at Droid-Life further indicated that they were so impressed with how polished the app was, that they consider it to be a "needed" app. You can decide for yourself by checking out the video above.
I just want something that unlike SKYPE can be turned off when not wanted. I just downloaded the new Skype and I cannot turn it off no matter what I do. It's so friggin aggravating.
