I'm not thinking that there will be a lot of problems with rooting this phone (whenever we finally get it), as HTC is not as relentlessly paranoid as Motorola about people installing custom roms on their phones. This should be a really fun phone to own.

I like to give it a few weeks with stock and up to a month if possible. Then I jump inand root when I can't take it any more.

I too am going to give it a couple of weeks stock then go for it. I want to see what the little bad boy can do before I go and mess with it. But this does definitely raise the desire to have one. Not that I had wavered any.
