    Wiimote + Thunderbolt

Hey guys I just got my phone today, pretty stoked about it. Now I have installed some emulators and I was trying to get some type of gamepad to work with the Thunderbolt. I read that the sense ui has some bunk bluetooth which is why you cannot attach a wiimote to your thunderbolt. Question 1 - Is there a way to attach a wiimote/360 pad, to your thunderbolt. Question 2 - Will I need to root my phone to do so.

I had read there are some custom roms out there that fixes the bluetooth issues, however will this mess with the lte capability of my phone, and if I root is it possible to go back to stock in the event of having to swap a phone.

    Thanks!

Don't think so, I tried getting it to work on my incredible for a very long time and gave up eventually. Still didn't work after updates that were supposedly supposed to fix bluetooth.

Default HTC Sense phones has a custom Bluetooth stuff which doesnt allow you to use Wiimote, supposedly Cyanogen has fixed this in the past. Ill prob be testing it out soon along w/ a few of the other "sense-less" ROMs to see if anything works out.

Edit: Confirmed, CM7 will let you sync w/ the Wiimotes properly. Running SNES9X EX with the Wiimote working just fine.
Would like to note that you dont need to "pair" the Wiimote in order for it to work, you sync it within the app itself. Trying to "pair" the Wiimote still fails.

I'm trying this now as well. I know it probably won't work but does anyone have a clue what the code would be to pair up a wiimote? My bluetooth will find it but requires the code to pair. Or is there anyway to get it to work (i want to use a snes emulator with it) while still being good ol stock?
