Can you do that from HBOOT?
I'm not able to get the phone to boot normally to allow that. Stuck in HBOOT.

Not panicking. I am not without a phone (I still love my DInc). I am just playing with the TB until I decide to turn it on.

The whole ROOT experience is new to me. Still stock on the DInc. Want to see if ROOT would be worth it for me. Wanted to get rid of bloatware and try overclocking.

He's stuck at HBOOT with S-ON. He can't even get to the boot animation.

press power button ....make sure your phone is unplugged from the computer. Take the USB cable off. Tell me what that does? If that doesn't work, do a battery pull. That would be the next step....

Goes straight to HBOOT.

Not plugged in.
SD Card is out.
Also happens with SD Card in. (PG05.zip has been removed from card.)

The same happens if I yank the battery and powerON.

The net is that I think you are going to have to flash a signed RUU to get out of HBOOT. The only one I know of is the MR2 one that jcase posted on rootzwiki. That said, unlike buffalo here, I don't feel comfortable telling you to try stuff that I haven't done myself. I 'think' that would work and its what I would try but wait for an RS member to comment.

At this point...I'm a little confused as to whether you were trying to root (or were rooted already), or were you trying to use the UOT kitchen? But, I can't hink of anything else to try. I would just wait on the Rescue Squad. I am surprised there aren't any on here so far today. I just don't know anything else to tell you but I think the RS will get you back up and running.

You and me both.

I was rooted.
I did try to use a UOT and it stuck at the animation screen and stalled. Never entered the phone.
Then I tried going back to a recovery and then I found myself unrooted and stuck in HBOOT mode.

Not exactly sure how I ended up unrooting myself.
