    Un-flashable?

To make a long story short, bought a used TB, the guy said it he cleaned of his info, it wasn't. put my battery in that said 20% on in my phone and it booted up with 100%, I was sold.

used it on the way to work, pandora worked, my sim card worked all seemed good.

tried to flash a rom in recovery, cleared cache, did factory reset, flashed rebooted and it came back up with his rom again with all his programs on it. deleted as many as I could, redid again with a stock rom same thing, tinkered some more and his splash screen comes up and I can get to recovery but that is it.

    Revolutionay root s-off
    radio 1.48.00.096w_1
    hboot 6.04.1002

I have trter's all in one and it does see the phone, and the screen doesn't turn it self off, but didn't have the sd card or sim in it, back in the other phone.

should I try and flash CWM? i'm not sure these choices really mean in the recovery menu.

I really don't want to kill it altogether

I would use Rom manager to flash cwm then in recovery do factory reset wipe data, then under mounts and storage be sure to format /system, then wipe dalvik under advanced and try flashing a Rom. Let me know how it goes.

I don't think it will boot any more, i believe the best I can do is get to recovery, and or get to it using trter's program, opps I take that back the freaking thing is booting into bamf. guess when I get off work i'll put my sim and sd card back in and try to see if I can get Rom manager.

this thing has all the same programs that I (&^)& deleted.

    I do think i'm jinxed

I don't have it open now but there were like 4 different choices, CWM, and CWM touch can't remember the other choices off hand, Age is a terrible thing, once your passed the tipping point its all downhill

Haha. At the very top. Cwm is what I use. I don't use cwm touch.

Use the tool to flash cwm and then run fix permissions.

ok, flashed with the tool, factory reset wipe data, wipe dalvik, this didn't work mounts and storage be sure to format /system.

flashed thunderstick i think and it said successfull, rebooted, his splash screen still there, and his rom with all his programs that I had removed before.

I did manage to get wifi working and play to not force close and am trying to download rom manager, but it can't run privileged commands

also getting Google services framework unexpectedly stopped.

and it looks like it has no radio

    this )** is haunted!
