    cant boot into recovery

    so dont remember how but my phone was stuck in hboot. when i selected it to boot into recovery it would hang up on the splash screen. somehow after a couple of reboots and battery pulls i was able to get my phone to reboot normally. as far as i can tell so far everything works normally but i still cant boot into recovery. i tried updating recovery via a pg05img file. phone read the file, then prompted me to update it. i selected ok then it hangs on splash screen again. not sure whats the deal or what my next step should be to fix this since i can use the phone normally. almost forgot when i go into rom manager and try to boot into recovery from there it hangs as well....

    Ok I remember how his happened. I was using skyfire and it hung up on a webpage so I did a battery pull, phone then rebooted into hboot.

    Reflash cwm from rom manager. Should fix recovery.

    I reflashes it using Tom manager but when I try to boot into recovery it hangs on the splash screen.

    How long are you waiting at the splash screen. Have you tried booting into recovery from rom manager? Hboot?

    I have. The phone hangs on the splash screen when going from rom manager and hboot into recovery. This morning I tried loading a backup of a rom and even that hung at the splash screen.

    Another thing that I noticed is that after every battery pull a app that I deleted comes back and my wifi turns on. Also anther app updates it self ever time. Seems like the phone can't remember the settings before the reboot.

    sounds like the same issue I have with one of mine, can't flash or change anything restart or battery pull all comes back the way it was.. bad emmc chip?

    That's exactly what's happening. Will my phone get worse or am I going to have to replace it?
