Still cant get new phone to root

    Still cant get new phone to root

    I got a refurb phone sent out. Immediatly after i booted it up, it did the OTA update. I have rooted several other refurb phones prior to this one with no problems at all. I have used revolutionary with all of them except for the first one.

    I tried revolutionary on this phone and it just stalls out saying looking for device. So i tried the new thunderbolt tool program that is floating around on here. It gets me all the way up to Flashing CW and it just stalls out there and doesnt do anything. It doenst give me the option to click yes or anything. I have deleted the drivers several times and reinstalled them and that doesnt help.

    I really need to get this phone up and running. My new Moto Razr Maxx keeps loosing data connection. And i need to root so i can run wireless tether on it for when i am at school. The WIFI coverage on campus sucks.

    Can someone please help me!?

    when it says rebooting to CW or something to that effect. The phone reboots to menue screen and does nothing. The computer does nothing from there too.

    Like i said in the first post, i have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers several times. And i did try driver.exe but i cant remember if it ran as a repair or fresh

    Maybe try a different USB cable and port, maybe even a diff. Computer.

    Im an idiot. It was a bad usb cable. Thanks for the help. It seems to be working now, still waiting for it to finish.
