Dropped phone in toilet, help
I just dropped my Thunderbolt in the toilet (clean water). I fished it out immediately. Opened it up and tried to dry it with a blow dryer. Put the battery in, turned it on and looked like it would turn on. Started booting up though the screen was kind of shaking/flashing a little. After the thunderbolt logo the screen went black though it sounded like it continued to load. I took the battery out and tried again and this time the screen stayed black.
What can I do to try and save it? If it can't be saved, will the insurance cover it if it was dropped in water? Right now I have it sitting in a container of dry white rice.
Thanks for any help.

By the way, if it matters I had the HTC extended battery in it. I can always put the original battery back of that matters for insurance purposes.

Well with my droidx I did something like that twice... Rice is good to use.. but pain in butt to clean out of areas.. let it stay in there over night tomorrow charge it some to heat up the PC card inside .. and try it a few times..

Seems too late now you can't turn it on right after the drop or it short circuits
Try leaving it in the rice for 2+ days

Update-Phone working
Thanks for the replies. I left it in rice overnight and this morning it was working. In fact better than before. Recently the flash for the camera stopped working. E ven with the flashlight app it didn't work. Now, it is working again.
