I think my TBOLT is toast

Well about 2 months ago, my thunderbolt flew out of my pocket playing basket ball and cracked the screen. Everything worked fine. Then about a month ago, i dropped it and the screen didn't brake but it would turn on then shut off and come on randomly. The power button got screwed up also.

Then i got a motorola droid a855, which is fine, just wish it was faster. Then yesterday for kicks and giggles i decided i would try and get my thunderbolt working. It turned on just fine but the screen was really glitchy; I think they call it ghost touching or something like that. Then i took it apart to make sure all the ribbon connection where good. Put it back together and it would just stay on the white htc screen for ever. Like minutes. I tried to do a hard reset but the power button isn't working.

What do i need to fix this?

I forgot to add. No charge light when plugged into charger.

I would say to RUU, but I know it wont help. It is most likely a hardware failure.

Sounds like a new motherboard and screen to me, have to figure out if it's worth fixing, I wasn't up for an up grade until next April and by the time I got my 3 phones I have now made into one I would have been better off buying used one off of ebay. I but I learned a lot and like to take things apart, the only good thing that came out of it other than experience is the phone I put together is better than the new one I got in the beginning
Charges 100%, screen works perfectly and I can get a day and 3/4 on a charge.

Does the white HTC boot screen look fine? If so I would think digitizer, but before you get that far, can you get it to boot at all and do you now get the charge light?

Ya the screen looks fine. No charge light at all...i think i might be able to boot if i could fix this stupid power button somehow.

Search Amazon or ebay(thunderbolt digitizer) they are a lot listed in both places. I think I read in one post that cleaning around the power button with the motherboard out did the trick.
