4G Extremely poor

I am having a problem with the 4G on my phone. Mine is rooted, my wifes is not. Her's works way better than mine (the 4G part anyway, I need to root her phone for sure). We work within a few miles of one another, and can be sitting in our living room, she will have a great connection, mine isn't working worth a darn. I constantly have to airplane mode on/off or even reboot my phone to get my data connection to work. It will work every time if I reboot it for a while. Could be 30 minutes, could be for the rest of the day. VZ sent me a new SIM card, and it seems like it is worse since then, but that could just be me looking too much in to it. Anyone have any experience with this sort of an issue?

•What have you done to get to the point where you are now? I just re-flashed my ROM yesterday too, so I could finally get my GPS working. I was slacking on that for a while, and hoped that doing that would help my 4G issues too, but no luck.

As a for instance on how this problem works. This morning, my co-workers and I went down to our cafateria to have some breakfast. That is a dead zone in our building for whatever reason. I got back to my desk, phone is stuck on 3G (I generally have 4G at my desk). I turned airplane mode on and off, and now all I have is signal bars and no "G" service. Rebooting right now as I type this, and service came back as 4G.

I have the same exact issue you are having. I'm rooted but just a stock ROM.

Have you flashed a new radio? Hubby and I are both rooted tbolts. We had a similar situation at one point where one phone was getting better data reception than the other. I found a better radio for the the lacking one. That did the trick for us at least. If it was me, I would check with the Team Liquid group to see what radio seems to be working best with those running that rom.
