    I'm having the exact same problem as OP. Did the new battery work out?

    Sorry everyone! completely forgot to post results.

    Yes, the new battery fixed the issue. Running a PCD brand battery that wa shipped to me. Now only random reboots are the rare occasion caused by my ICS ROM. but it did take a day or two of heavy use to dial itself in. now, its all good.
