Flashing ROM's..simplified

I hope its ok to post this here. I'm newly rooted and still learning the process of flashing ROM's and radios. I needed a basic how to and found a good write up on what the process is and it also explains in simple terms what is going on when you are flashing using Clockworkmod and ROM manager. I'm sure a lot of folks reading this forum are like me and get a little overwhelmed when some of the old timer Android users are talking shop and seemed to be able to do this stuff in their sleep. Hopefully this can help. Mod's...if this post is in the wrong place or inappropriate please feel free to move or delete. I'm just trying to help.
