Unrooted, Rooting, then what do I do to go to Gingerbread?

Right now I'm unrooted because I've broken my bolt's screen twice and have had two replacements ( GO BLACK TIE PROTECTION! WOOT lol ) anyways, I've been looking around and can't find exactly what I'm supposed to do, i've been reading about a MR2 radio? I know how to flash the PRM102.zip things ( I know that isn't right lol ) and I was under the assumption that those are the radios and or include the radios, so what I need to know is WHERE I can find this supposed stable GB MR2 radio, and if I just flash it like I did to root the phone ( When I first rooted ( i've been rooted before ) I did it all manually, but using auto this time ) ) anyways, I just need to know my exact work flow so I can get my bad ass little device to the haven of CM7

Don't really need help with the steps just need to not forget to do something, DON'T want a bricked phone ( though BB would probably still replace it lol )

Links to it are in the site, search for MR2 and then find a post containing it. Should take 2 minutes max. The process is nothing like rooting, it is done on the phone through hboot, as long as the radio is on the root of your sd card and is a. Zip file named PG05IMG, you will be able to flash it.
