MR3 radio question

Ok I'm still new to the rooted world. But will the new MR3 radio that verizon released work with the liquid thunderbread 2.6 rom? If so is there somewhere on the forums to get it. Thanks in advanced

Check the Software Number by going to Settings > About Phone > Software. If it is 2.11.605.X or something to that nature, then you can use MR3. Otherwise you will have to stay on MR2.

Yea Im not seeing a software number under my about options guessing that's due to having a custom rom?

Sorry, I wrote those instructions down wrong. It's About Settings > Phone > Software Information. Then it is the third option down that says "Software number."

The answer is, yes. I'm running the MR3 radio with Liquid Thunderbread 6. It works great. Improves battery life and reception.

You're going to have to use ADB in order to get the phone into Bootloader mode.

I'm running CM7 1.8 on the latest MR3 radio, its working fine. If anything, it drops to 3g less often.
