Did emptyshells link and it seemed to improve the GPS, was locking on 7 or so satellites before and 11 after with fewer errors.

Just discovered if you have boot mgr you can boot too another rom too get gps lock then back and it magicly works, hadn't used gps in a while on LQ 3.2 and it wouldn't fire up until I did the switch back.
New discovery for me anyway

Is anyone else having the same GPS problems I have? I've followed all of the various instructions (and been trying this for weeks).
I flash a number of ROMs all w/ no GPS (e.g. Liquid Smooth, ThunderShed, etc)... I've backed them up, and installed a Sensed ROM.
Get a GPS lock (I've tried all of the suggestions [Google Nav, GPS Status]), and successfully lock in my GPS.
Lastly, I restore my earlier ROM then immediately go to Google Nav, or GPS Status, and I *never* get a GPS lock.
The instructions are too easy... And there are different versions, but all of them have the same basic process. It just doesn't work for me. (I've even tried the tweaks to GPS.conf, and still no luck.)
Is anyone else having problems getting GPS to work?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
If you have a lock, have you tried just flashing a rom and not restoring from backup?

I was having the same issue with GPS and the latest Cyanogen Mod on my Note 2...did what was suggested, installed a Sense Rom, booted the phone let it stabilize, then locked in the GPS, rebooted to Recovery did a wipe, (no factory reset), restored the Cyanogen Mod and boom!...locked in the GPS signal in 10 seconds. Great fix for whoever came up with the remedy.
